Counselling based on psychological and transpersonal astrology. The consultations aim at helping to deepen self-observation and assisting processes of personal transformation towards a more conscious reconnection of the ego and personality with the inner world.
The inner world is like a sacred and creative portal of the psyche. Through its subjectivity, it opens it up to the intuitive level and brings us closer to the spiritual dimension of our being. However, the psyche is also the realm of everything that is part of the subconscious, with its vast archive of unconscious memories, repetitive patterns, behavioural automatisms, instinctive impulses and traumatic scars. All of these derive from what we have already experienced, from the legacy inherited through our birth and from the context in which we have incarnated. Self-observation and openness to processes of personal transformation – sometimes assisted by therapies – are a helpful and complementary contribution to treading and developing a path of overcoming and freeing ourselves from the obstacles that limit access to what comes from our essence, allowing for a widening of consciousness and a rebalancing of our personality. Without transformation we become captive by our own nature, more reactive and prone to the impact and influence of what is external to us, more selfish and held back from the potential that will be accessible if, instead of a prison, the characteristics of the personality are transformed and developed as tools to serve in the quest for our essence and its manifestation.
About the counselling consultations
All consultations are based on a psychological and humanistic orientation, including the transpersonal and deeper perspectives of our Being, and are suited to address the natal theme from several angles – individual, biographical, familiar, relational, social, vocational/professional and karmic/evolutionary – according to what better meets the need of those who seek them.
The natal chart is interpreted as the basic matrix of the personality and its potential for transformation, towards the maturing of the person’s identity, the coordination and integration of the various functions of the psyche, an authentic and less conditioned expression of oneself, and the expansion of consciousness beyond the known limits and patterns.
The themes and issues brought up for consultation are observed from the present moment and current condition, taking into consideration ongoing situations and processes, relevant biographical references, life stages, cycles of evolution and a deeper understanding of subjective aspects inherent to the inner journey. Points of reference, self-observation and rhythms are identified which might help going through whatever Life brings to the consultee as an existential and learning experience in the present moment. The aim is to stimulate attention and openness to one’s subjectivity and the search for practical ways of tuning into the dimension of Being that transcends the personality, and for creatively expressing it.
The basic analysis of the natal chart helps us understand our unique personal matrix, which informs us about personality patterns and the psychological dynamics that most shape our behaviour, reactions, personal will and attitude towards Life.
The contextualisation of the present moment provides guidelines regarding where we are, subjectively and objectively, so we can deal with our own inner impulses for development without neglecting the surrounding circumstantial factors. Understanding current challenges and opportunities as processes that are subject to rhythms and cycles can help us become aware of a common thread, a deeper meaning that underlies them and connects them as an integral, holistic experience of living in the present.
The flow of the consultations tries to reflect, complement and widen the vision of those who seek them through a more sensitive and intuitive approach, rather than an analytical and exhaustive one, to the questions that arise.
Counselling Modalities
The modalities mentioned here come from the experience I’ve had throughout my counselling practice regarding the type of requests I receive. These are the most recurrent approaches, however, each meeting is unique, open to the needs of the person and of the moment, and does not have to be predefined.
A first time consultation is recommended as an initial basis for any other approach, especially if you’ve never had your chart read; and a follow-up consultation will generally be appropriate for subsequent meetings.
First Time Consultation
Natal Chart and Present Outlook ~ first approach to the natal theme, an essential basis for any subsequent consultation. Close observation of the personality matrix and ongoing processes.
Follow-up Consultation
Updating or Continuity ~ counselling based on an attentive, sensitive and intuitive assessment of the consultee's situation, condition and needs.
Annual Consultation
Birthday / Solar Return ~ Annual reading, based on the interpretation of the 'astrological birthday' chart.
Thematic Consultation
Close-up View ~ A detailed approach, for in-depth observation of a particular subject, theme or area of life.
Inner View In Depth Consultation
With main focus on subjective, internalising aspects linked to the individual's karmic and evolutionary processes and of the consciousness which transcends its own personality.
Relationship Consultation
Relational Patterns / Synastry ~ Aimed at observing the basic relational dynamics of the personality and the processes in specific relational contexts: family, love, personal, professional, social or group.
Parents and Children Consultation
Childhood and Adolescence ~ aimed at parents who are looking to raise awareness of aspects of their parenthood and how to cope with their children; or for adolescents who spontaneously express an interest in coming for a consultation (accompanied or authorised by their parents).
Brief or Mini Consultations
Shorter sessions to provide a synthetic outlook of ongoing situations, adress a particular question, clarify doubts or to complement/close a previous session.

Counselling service
Consultations can be held online by videoconference via Zoom or on location in Santarém (PT).
All meetings are recorded in digital mp3 audio format (also mp4 video for online meetings) and then sent to you via a download link by email.
An image of the natal chart is also provided in PDF format (and printed on paper for in person meetings), as well as any additional notes in JPG format.
The entire context of the consultation, natal/personal data and archive files are bound by the principle of confidentiality.They are intended exclusively for the personal and private use of the consultee and archived for our future reference should the need arise, unless you state it otherwise.
Booking an appointment
Bookings can be made:
- on our website, by filling in a brief contact form or by directly pre-scheduling the modality, date and time you want, using the form available for this purpose;
- by email to astra@raiodeseda.sikairos.pt, indicating your name and telephone number;
- by text message, indicating your name and email address to +351 961477409.
The consultation requires prior preparation, so please allow at least a 24 hours advance for booking, including for sending all the required data.
All booking requests are subject to confirmation by email or text message.
Required Personal Data
As you'll find in the corresponding forms, the following contact details are required when booking an appointment or pre-scheduling it online:
- name (this will become your username)
- email address
- telephone contact
- place of residence (+ county and district/region/state; country, if you live outside Portugal)
For the booking to be confirmed and for preparing the consultation, natal data and some additional information are also required:
- full name (or at least first name and two surnames)
- date of birth
- time of birth, as accurately as possible.*
- place of birth (+ county and district/region/state; country, if you were born outside Portugal)
- indication of topics and/or questions relevant to the consultation
- place where you spent your last birthday
*If you don't know the exact time of birth: try to check it on the birth certificate, baby book or with family members; otherwise indicate a probable window for the time of birth (e.g. between 10am and midday); or mention the time of the day (e.g. dawn, morning, afternoon, sunset, until midnight, late night).
If you book again after you've had your first appointment, you will need to mention any eventual changes to your contact/residence information and provide additional details, depending on the intended modality.
The data provided will only be used for its intended purpose and will not be passed on, fully or partially, to third parties. You will also have access to a personal profile where you can view it, change it or request the deletion of your record.
Consultation fees and payment
Consultation fees vary according to its modality and/or duration:
- first time consultation, relationship and in-depth consultations (or any appointment lasting from 3 to 3h30) 70€;
- follow-up, annual and thematic consultations (or any appointment lasting from 2 to 2h30) €60;
- brief consultations (or any appointment lasting around 1h30) 50€;
- mini-consultations/clarifications (or any appointment lasting up to 1 hour) 30€;
In exceptional cases of precarious financial situation, unemployment or other justifiable reason, one of the following solutions will be agreed: scheduling a later payment date; payment in instalments; adjusting the fee according to our mutual possibilities; barter; probono.
Payment is made after the meeting is held and can be done:
- by bank transfer or MBWay
- in cash (only in face-to-face meetings)
- by PayPal (for residents outside Portugal or if this is your preferred option).
Payment details will be provided at the end of the meeting or immediately after by email. The corresponding invoice/receipt will be issued electronically through the portuguese tax portal, if it is requested along with indication of the VAT number for that purpose.

First Time Consultation - Natal Chart and Present Outlook
An in-depth approach, with greater focus on the natal chart theme and some biographical references, is essential as a first consultation - especially when one has never had an astrological reading before.
This modality also includes a general outlook on the present moment, identifying current relevant processes (with greater detail within the last year and up to a year after our meeting) and addressing topics or questions brought up during the consultation.

Follow-up Consultation - Update or Continuity
The update sessions take a detailed look at the current situation, ongoing processes and specific questions posed by the consultee. They are not necessary within a year after a first time consultation. They cover about two to three years time, with a recent retrospective and a short-term outlook. They also recall and/or identify mid and long-term aspects that tie in with the present.
The continuity sessions complement, develop and deepen the reading of the first consultation, and include addressing specific questions or focussing on specific themes. There is no need for predefining a specific consultation modality, for these meetings are carried out with an attitude of attentive, sensitive and intuitive assessment of the consultee's situation, condition and needs.

An approach focussed on the annual theme and current questions within the period of about a year, based on the interpretation of the solar return chart - the astrological anniversary corresponding to the moment when the Sun returns exactly to its position in the natal chart.
What does the annual cyclical renewal bring us as a potential for our life and consciousness? What personal will, needs, disposition, direction, crucial issues and areas of experience stand out now? Which rhythms and moments of the year should receive our particular attention?

Inner View In Depth Consultation
Aimed at understanding the details of certain rhythms in our life path and the coordinated integration process of the personality, while becoming a potential tool at the service of its spiritual origin and dimension. This process implies steps of deep personal transformation and the broadening of consciousness towards something unknown. The potential in our consciousness to open up and somehow relate to the transcendent and immanent levels of Life is observed by the way how these surface in the person's ego (inspiring and challeging it) and how this is expressed through the personality's energetic matrix.
The approach is directed towards transpersonal processes and dynamics, aided by: the signifiers of 'the appeal of the divine in the psyche' - Pluto, Neptune and Uranus; - Chiron, signifying the process of spiritual opening and healing; the evolutionary axis traced by the Lunar Nodes; an other relevant indicators. The consultation tries to address subjects such as: the evolutionary process under the Karmic Laws, while opening up and tuning in with a higher purpose and higher levels of the Cosmic Laws; relevant karmic aspects - inheritance of individual and collective patterns;the unconscious dynamics present in the personality - subconscious, archetypal and intuitive ( supraconscious); subjective experience; creativity; internalisation; purification; alignment; withdrawal; service.

Relationship Consultation - Relational Patterns / Synastry
Aimed at observing various types of relationship issues - family, romantic, marital, professional, friendship, social, partnership or group/team. It comprises the identification of: potentialities and challenges, affinities and points of friction, potential paths towards complementarity and synergy; suggestions for self-improvement in terms of communication, coexistence and balancing personal power in the relationship; reflection in order to acknowledge points of shared focus and to envision common or compatible goals.
Ones' self-image and the quality of our relationship with ourselves have strong implications for the dynamics and quality of any interpersonal relationship. They are the first filter - and also the first obstacle - that stands between the self and the other.For this reason, these consultations are based on the observation of the consultee's relational patterns as its central core for reflection and for addressing the topics involved. Personal transformation is emphasised as the first step and the main form of clarification, acceptance and empowerment towards a more appropriate and balanced relationship. In some situations, this self-transformation is valued as the main contribution to defining, managing and letting go when going through the process of closing a relationship, or when one's dealing with rejection, absence or loss.
As an aid to understanding the situation of the consultee, the way how the people in the relationship combine, creating a common field of sharing, learning and evolving, is also observed, through the interpretation of certain aspects of synastry (the matching and mismatching of personalities) and the combined chart (the unique field generated and shared in the relationship).
In a two-person consultation, greater emphasis is placed on the combined chart's themes, on how it relates to the individual charts and to each one's own characteristics and patterns, always raising awareness for an attitude of self-observation, self-transformation and dialogue for mutual benefit.

Parents and Children Consultation - Childhood and Adolescence
These consultations are dedicated to assisting parents with regard to their children and the challenge of parenting.
For the childhood period, the aim is to understand the aspects, characteristics and conditions present at the age they are going through, so that parents can provide a more balanced support and deal better with the processes they are going through themselves. This way they might handle better the circumstances of parenthood.
For the adolescence period, in addition to what has been mentioned before, issues related to the age shift, the discovery of self-identity, personal potentialities and vocational profile are closely observed, preferably in their presence -should they show interest in doing so. The possibility for individual consultation with minors is also available, subject to parental authorisation.

The first option is suitable for those who have already had their first consultation and other more detailed sessions and know their natal chart theme well, allowing us to have a synthetic outlook of ongoing situations or address specific questions in a shorter meeting. Mini consultation/clarification option corresponds to very short sessions, aimed at clarifying doubts arising from previous consultations or to complement/close them when necessary.
