the first 'raio de seda' vouchers
The consultation vouchers were initially designed as a customised printable-cut-and-fold-yourself digital format, to be given out as an original gift.
The first ones were created and issued when I was beginning my pratice, as a way for me to give family members or friends the experience of an astrological outlook. At the time, it was intended exclusively for printing on white or coloured heavier paper sheet and involved some handcrafting, as it was necessary to be cut out, folded and closed using a small thread or ribbon to finish it off. It was designed in the shape of a five-pointed star, with customised information in black, and it closed into a pentagonal shape, sealed by an attached image of the butterfly from the initial rds logo. For those who ordered it, it was sent in digital black and white digital format as an A4 page with the elements/instructions needed for assembling it.
Some time later, the vouchers were redesigned into a simpler, more user friendly format, which could be offered virtually as an image file or in printed postcard format. This still is the option currently used, with a new design and logo since 2021.
‘raio de seda’ vouchers offer its recipients the opportunity to enjoy a counselling session, and can be booked within one year after being issued. Each voucher is personalised using the recipient’s natal chart calculated according to the natal data provided by the sender (when not known in detail, the birth date is enough; if it’s completely unknown the chart image used will correspond to the day it is issued). Its customised design (check the example below) also includes a space for a short message/dedication and the sender’ signature, provided in text format when ordering it.
Those who get it have the opportunity to observe themselves from the viewpoint of psychological and transpersonal astrology. Receiving it could come as a pleasant surprise, an unexpected – and somewhat challenging – proposal for self-discovery, self-observation, personal development, additional assistance in critical or fragile periods of life or when undergoing some kind of therapy, or for more in-depth comprehension of a particular subject or area of life, delving more deeply and consciously into their identity and subjectivity.
Ordering your gift voucher
The process is simple. All you have to do is to fill in the ordering form below with all the information needed to issue the voucher, choose the appropriate option (first time consultation voucher when the recipient’s never had a consultation with me before, or a follow-up voucher if it’s intended to provide a continuity consultation), wait for my reply with the payment details, make your payment and send its notification or confirmation document by email.
The voucher will be sent to you by email, in image format, so that you can forward it by email, multimedia message (whats app, telegram, signal, messenger, or others) or offer it printed on out on paper. For further information, please read the useful information below.
The voucher can be issued in the name of an individual sender or of several ones/group, for example, when friends get together to give a birthday present. Don’t forget to mention it in the signature customisation, so that it is personalised accordingly.

Ordering request
To place your order, you must fill in the form available below and then pay according to the instructions you'll receive by email. This is the quickest and simplest method.
You can also place your order by email at astra@raiodeseda.sikairos.pt and wait for our reply, requesting the necessary data for issuing the voucher and sending the payment details.
Required data
The following will be required when filling in the ordering request form:
- the sender's contact details and VAT number (if you wish to have the electronic invoice/receipt emited through the portuguese tax portal);
- the recipient's contact details and natal data (if you only know the birth date, the voucher's customised map will be calculated for midday, Lisbon; if you don't know at all about the recipient's natal data, the chart will correspond to the day the voucher's issued);
- text for the message or dedication (the space is limited to one or two short paragraphs plus signature, as shown in the example below).
Voucher's fees and payment
There are two modalities of gift vouchers: the First Time Consultation Voucher and The Follow-Up Consultation Voucher. Usually gift vouchers are issued for people who will have their consultation for the first time but sometimes it also happens that a friend or family member chooses to offer a continuity consultation as a gift. The voucher itself looks exactly the same but a reference is kept regarding the chosen modality and it's recipient's information will already be registered in the database from previous meetings.
The voucher fees are the same as the corresponding consultation fees:
- First Time Consultation Voucher is 70€
- Follow-Up Consultation Voucher is 60€
Payment is available by bank transfer, MBWay transfer or PayPal (for residents outside Portugal or the EU countries), using the details you'll receive in the reply to your order. You must then give notice or send proof of payment by email. The voucher will be sent to you in return by email, as a digital image, printable on paper, in a landscape format of about A6 size, or as small as A5.
An electronic invoice/receipt will be emited through the portuguese tax portal if you request it so and provide the VAT number in the ordering form.
Terms and conditions of use
- Vouchers are valid for one year from its issuing date;
- its recipient needs to book the consultation online or by email and fill in all required personal data not yet provided by the sender;
- there is a tolerance of up to two months after the expiry date for booking the consultation;
- voucher payments are non-refundable;
- if the voucher is not used, its sender has the right to reuse the paid amount, by booking a consultation or issuing a new voucher, up to one year after its expiry date;
- the option of reusing an expired voucher's paid amount does not include any coming changes in the consultation fees, regarding those in validity when the it was first issued.
